Frank Sturek, Chief Growth Officer

Frank Sturek is the Chief Growth Officer at Axiologic Solutions.  He is responsible for Corporate Operations and Managing new business growth in the company. Prior to working at Axiologic he was a Vice President of Business Development at Alion Science and Technology where he was responsible for new business growth in Army and Marine Corps Training, Modeling and Simulation, and Training Systems Modernization. Before Alion Science and Technology Frank worked for Engility Corporation and at Northrop Grumman Corporation.

He served his country with 21 years of active service in the US Army that included assignments in Germany, Fort Bragg, West Point, Fort Campbell, Iraq, Fort Polk, Afghanistan and the Pentagon.  His last assignment before retirement was on the United States Joint Staff where he served as a political-military affairs action officer and later as the Branch Chief for Afghanistan Policy. Prior to his assignment on the Joint Staff he commanded the 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment (10th Mountain Division) at Fort Polk, LA from November of 2004 to February of 2007, and Battalion Task Force Warrior during combat operations in Afghanistan in 2006 (OEF VII).

His other combat tour took place during Operation Iraqi Freedom I in 2003-2004 when he served as the Executive Officer for the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry during the liberation of Iraq, and later as the Executive Office for the 5,000 Solider 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division during stability and counter-insurgency operations in Mosul.

Recognized as a top performer throughout his career with numerous awards and military skill badges, LTC (Ret) Sturek was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, the Ranger Tab, and Senior Parachutist Wings.

He is a 1989 Graduate of the United States Military Academy where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  In 1998 Frank earned a M.S in Engineering Management from the University of Central Florida.  He also is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Frank has been married to his wife Julie for 28 years.  They have two children, Frank Jr. (23) and Claire (20).
